Forest Shuffle

Forest Shuffle is a card game for 2–5 players about building the most ecologically balanced woodland, and the winner of the 2025 GEEKS d'OURO Innovative Mechanics Game of the Year. One of the finest card games of recent years, it's simple to learn but deeply satisfying to play — and beautifully illustrated throughout.

Draw cards or play them into your growing forest, placing species to the left and right of your trees to unlock their scoring potential. Every species has its own habitat requirements, and the most valuable forests are those where everything works in harmony. But watch for the winter card — when it appears, the game ends and only the most balanced ecosystems will triumph. The tension of not knowing when winter arrives keeps every decision meaningful right to the last turn.
