Murder in Tinseltown is a cooperative deduction game set in 1940s Hollywood. When Ruby Bloom, a famous starlet, is found dead on set, you step in as an LAPD detective to piece together what happened. Work through five crime scenes, question six suspects, and link evidence cards to uncover the truth.

Gameplay works like a point-and-click adventure: combine numbered evidence cards and cross-reference a chart to reveal new clues. Yellow numbers prompt you to draw new cards; black numbers require combining with other evidence to unlock the next part of the story. Navigate all five scenes and make your final accusation before time runs out.

What's good?

  • 77 cards and 5 scenes give the case real depth and variety
  • Card combination mechanic keeps deduction tactile and satisfying
  • Playable solo or cooperatively for up to 4 players
  • Strong narrative atmosphere without relying on flavour text padding

Who is it for?

  • ✔ Solo players or small groups aged 12+
  • ✔ Fans of deduction games like Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective
  • ✖ Single-play — once the case is solved it cannot be reset
