Finspan takes the familiar engine-building structure of Wingspan and moves it underwater. You're a marine researcher observing aquatic life across the Sunlight, Twilight, and Midnight zones of the ocean, building a tableau of fish that generate points and trigger abilities as you dive deeper. A slightly more accessible entry point than Wingspan, with its own distinct feel.

Over four rounds, players discover fish, generate young and schools, and chain abilities across three ocean zones. The mechanisms will feel familiar to Wingspan players but the aquatic theme and tweaked mechanics give it a fresh identity — it's not just a reskin.
