Carcassonne: Bridges, Castles and Bazaars

Bridges, Castles and Bazaars adds three distinct mechanics to Carcassonne, each changing how you build and score features. It's a versatile expansion that rewards risk-taking and opportunistic play, without adding significant rules overhead.

Bridges let you extend roads over obstructing features, keeping routes alive that would otherwise be blocked. Castles convert small completed cities into a gamble — you forfeit the initial points in exchange for scoring whatever the next completed feature nearby is worth. Bazaar tiles trigger mini-auctions where players bid victory points to claim the best tiles from a selection.
