• What is Dice Throne?

  Dice Throne is a fast-paced, dice-duelling game published by Roxley Games where players choose a unique hero and battle opponents using custom dice, action points, and combat cards. Each hero plays differently, making every match-up feel fresh. It suits 2–6 players and plays in 20–40 minutes.

• Do I need to buy a specific box to start?

  Any Dice Throne box is a complete, standalone game for 2 players. The best starting point for new players is Dice Throne: Season One Rerolled Box 1 (Barbarian vs Moon Elf), which introduces the core mechanics clearly. Marvel Dice Throne is ideal if you prefer a superhero theme.

• What's the difference between Season One Rerolled and Season Two?

  Season One Rerolled is a refined reprint of the original Dice Throne with updated components and balance tweaks. Season Two introduces new heroes with more complex mechanics, better suited to players already familiar with the game. Both seasons are fully compatible and can be mixed for larger player counts.

• What is Marvel Dice Throne?

  Marvel Dice Throne uses the same core Dice Throne system but features iconic Marvel heroes and villains — including Spider-Man, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Loki, Deadpool, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, and X-Men characters. It is fully compatible with standard Dice Throne heroes, allowing cross-universe match-ups.

• Can I mix heroes from different boxes?

  Yes — all Dice Throne heroes are fully compatible across Season One, Season Two, and Marvel Dice Throne. You can combine boxes to support up to 6 players simultaneously.

• How long does a game of Dice Throne take?

  A standard 2-player game takes 20–40 minutes. Multiplayer games with 4–6 players take longer depending on the format — free-for-all or team play.
