• What is Marvel Champions: The Card Game?

• Where should I start with Marvel Champions?

  Start with the Marvel Champions: The Card Game Core Set, which includes five heroes (Iron Man, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, She-Hulk), three villains, and everything needed to play. Once you're comfortable, expand with Hero Packs and Campaign Expansions.

• Can I play Marvel Champions solo?

  Yes — Marvel Champions is excellent for solo play. Many heroes work well alone, and the difficulty can be adjusted to suit a single player.

• What's the difference between a Hero Pack and a Campaign Expansion?

  Hero Packs (such as Deadpool, Gambit, Rogue, Storm, and many others) add a new hero with a pre-built deck and a modular encounter set. Campaign Expansions (such as Age of Apocalypse, NeXt Evolution, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) add full multi-scenario campaigns with new heroes, villains, and mechanics.

• Do I need the Core Set to use Hero Packs?

  Yes — Hero Packs require the Core Set (or another base set) to play, as they don't include villain decks or scenario cards.

• Which heroes are best for beginners?

  Spider-Man and Captain Marvel from the Core Set are widely recommended for new players. Among Hero Packs, Black Widow and Falcon are considered accessible starting points.

• What is the Civil War expansion?

  Marvel Champions: The Card Game — Civil War is a campaign expansion based on the Marvel Civil War storyline, featuring new heroes, villains, and a narrative campaign where player choices affect the outcome.

• How many players does Marvel Champions support?

  1–4 players. Games typically take 45–90 minutes depending on player count and scenario difficulty.
